I don't really know. Perhaps go to a brick and mortar store and try on a watch of similar size and see what you think. Personally, I'm not a big fan of dive watches because they tend to be so large and clunky.

If you are still open to a field watch, you might look at the Citizen BM8180-03E It's a 37mm, solar powered quartz, with 100m WR.

I remember the Citizen BM8180-03E went down to around $60 on Amazon for only one day, last year around Christmas.

Most Timex watches have the "Indiglo" feature, which is a bright light for reading the watch in the dark. Quartz watches are more durable and less delicate than automatics.

Maybe a Allied LT or an Easy Reader or Expedition Scout. The Weekender is a popular watch, that looks good on a variety of straps.

Not a Timex, but another good choice might be a Citizen BM8180-03E. It doesn't have Indiglo, but it has good "lume" (glow in the dark paint), and it is solar powered. It is also 100m water resistant, so it's safe for pool or shower.
